2024 Ben Weider Naturals Pro Results

by Energyzonefitness

This show took place right outside of the nation’s capitol.

The 2024 Ben Weider Naturals Pro was held on the weekend of Nov. 15-16, 2024, in Alexandria, VA. This is considered the most significant natural bodybuilding show on the IFBB Pro League calendar, featuring nine pro divisions. Seven of those nine pro shows served as 2025 Olympia Weekend qualifiers. The Men’s Open and 212 contests did not award qualifications.

Ninety-four pros took the stage for this event, including new pros who earned qualifications in the amateur division shows earlier in the weekend.

Men’s Open Winner — Matt Butale

Matt Butale was the best of the three men in this contest, winning with a perfect score from the judges. The head judge was IFBB Pro League Vice President Tyler Manion. Greg Grant and Danny Strong took second and third place.

212 Bodybuilding Winner — Peter Boncardo

Peter Boncardo won the 212 title unopposed. It is the Masters competitor’s first win in this show in four appearances.

Classic Physique Winner — Patrick Teutsch

Patrick Teutsch faced 16 opponents in the Classic Physique show, and he faced stiff competition from Lenny Wicks, who finished as the runner-up. This is Teutsch’s first pro win and Classic Physique Olympia qualification.

Men’s Physique Winner — Titus Mbayoh

This was Titus Mbayoh’s pro debut. The Canadian scored his first victory and is now qualified for the Olympia. It was another close contest, but Mbayoh earned a three-point win over silver medalist Chien Hsin Chen.

Fitness Winner — Jessica Zehr

Jessica Zehr had the best physique in the Fitness category, but this division holds two rounds, and the Routine round counts for two-thirds of the overall score. Zehr was third in that round, but she managed to hold onto a one-point win over 2023 winner Michelle Gales. Zehr is the sixth competitor to qualify for the 2025 Fitness Olympia.

Figure Winner — Chelsea Mooney

The third time was a charm for Chelsea Mooney. She placed fifth in this show in 2023 and third in 2022 but left with the gold this year. She earned this win with a perfect score from the judges.

Bikini Winner — Lawna Dunbar

Lawna Dunbar was one of the few athletes in the show who had Olympia experience. She placed 16th at the 2022 Bikini Olympia. Thanks to a dominant win in Alexandria, she can now return to that stage in 2025. Hye Kyeong Hwang and Ukachi Onyejiaka placed second and third, respectively.

Women’s Physique Winner — Trisha Pollydore

Trisha Pollydore turned pro in 2022 but waited until 2024 to debut. It appeared to be the right move because she bested four opponents in the Women’s Physique category to clinch a 2025 Women’s Physique Olympia qualification.

Wellness Winner — Maria Rita Penteado

The Wellness Division show was another tight contest. A single point on the scorecards separated Maria Rita Penteado and Riley Walsh. Ultimately, Penteado was the last woman standing as the winner.
