How to Qualify

Past champions are automatically qualified within five years of their last Olympia win. Former winners beyond five years are eligible but must obtain permission from the IFBB Pro League to enter.

The top three finishers from the previous year’s Olympia are also locked into next year’s contest. The rest of the field comprises show winners during the qualifying season. The only other path to the stage is by special invite, and none are expected to be issued by the promoters in 2024.

Past Champion

The only past winner in this lineup is seven-time champion and defending titleholder Cydney Gillon. She has been the most dominant champion of any division in recent years, and it appears no one will derail her momentum in 2024.

Gillon is considered the strong favorite to win her eighth Olympia in Las Vegas. If she does, she will extend her record for the most wins in this division and tie Lenda MurrayRonnie Coleman, and Lee Haney for the second-most Olympia wins in any division. Iris Kyle holds the record with 10 Ms. Olympia titles.

Top Contenders

If someone dethrones Gillon, they would be the eighth champion in the contest’s 21-year history. Jessica Reyes Padilla has finished second to Gillon in the last two Olympias and won three pro contests in 2024, most recently the 2024 Arizona Pro. The 2023 Masters Olympia champion is considered the one who could take advantage of the opportunity if Gillon happened to be off her game during pre-judging.

Lola Montez was third in the 2023 Olympia and will likely join Gillon and Padilla in the first callout. Thanks to her bronze medal at the 2023 Olympia, Montez was not required to compete in 2024. She could show significant improvement at this show.

Dark Horses

The division has multiple rising stars who could potentially impact the final standings. Cherish Richardson was fourth at the 2023 Olympia and won the 2024 Chicago Pro and 2024 Lenda Murray Atlanta Pro shows to secure her spot in the 2024 Olympia.

Natalia Soltero rounded out the top five from the 2023 Figure Olympia and placed first in the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro. She won the 2024 Daytona Pro, which also qualified her for the 2025 Olympia. She placed second to Gillon in 2020 and 2021.

Other Notes

Both rounds of this contest and all 11 pro shows in Las Vegas will be streamed live on the 2024 Olympia pay-per-view, available for purchase at the Olympia Productions website.

BarBend will provide updates for every contest and placing in the Olympia throughout the weekend. Stay tuned for the latest news and developments leading up to the big weekend in Sin City.
