Menβs Open Athletes to Watch
This lineup features threeΒ athletes who competed at theΒ 2025 Arnold ClassicΒ and are the early favorites in Michigan:
William Bonac
Bonac is a two-time Arnold Classic champion and 2019 Mr. Olympia runner-up but has yet to qualify for the 2025 Olympia. He ranked fifth at the 2025 Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH. This will be his first time competing in this contest.
James Hollingshead
Hollingshead of the United Kingdom ranked eighth at the 2025 Arnold Classic. His most recent win came at theΒ 2022 Tsunami Nutrition Cup Pro.
Hollingshead is known for his density and thickness, but he has focused on improving his shape to return to the Olympia stage later this season.Β
Carlos Thomas Jr.
Thomas Jr. has been called a future star in the making. At the 2025 Arnold Classic in Columbus, his most significant show in the pro ranks, he finished one spot behind Hollingshead. Thomas Jr. will not be the largest athlete onstage, but his conditioning and symmetry may help him even the odds.
